A Catalogue of Cure
A suite of unique silkscreened works on tie dyed, Indian cotton paper

Created in defiance of virus-induced self-isolation and diminishing physical spheres. A Catalogue of Cure presents tableaus of cultural, organic and industrial patterns directly sourced in India, Japan, Southeast Asia, North Africa, and Europe. Titles reference curative therapies, social concerns, and medicinal rain forest plants. As palimpsests of world patterns, metaphors for inter-connectedness in a fragile world are drawn.  Created in the artist’s at-home studio during New York City’s “STAY HOME”, Coronavirus Pandemic 2020.

each work: acrylic on tie dyed, Indian cotton paper, unique silkscreen; most sized 30” x 22”, 76 x 56 cm. The red/white on saffron paper sized 32” x 24”, 81 x 61 cm
